A company leader in the marketing and corporate communication sector contacted Arkadia for a simultaneous interpreting service from English into Spanish, Korean, Russian and Chinese. The interpreters were key to a successful cycle of webinars focused on highly specialised medical-scientific content.
The nature of the issues tackled and the distance mode made this interpreting project particularly tricky. At some point, there were also audio problems due to a lack of quality in the connection between the speakers.
Flexibility of the interpreters in adapting to the webinar calendar was also essential, to guarantee maximum uniformity of the service over time.
Arkadia supplied an ideal solution for the customer’s needs, creating a team of mother tongue interpreters who specialise in simultaneous translation and have extensive expertise of the medical field, and were willing to give availability for appointments spread out over the four-month project.
To overcome the technical difficulties, some talks were recorded in order to guarantee listeners a clear and smooth audio experience.
The Arkadia team interacted in perfect harmony with the customer’s audio technicians who managed the webinar, to offer the communication company the multi-lingual service required.
The professional approach of the interpreters allowed the webinar participants to enjoy the talks in their own language, with highly satisfactory feedback.
